TWCC T20 XI become Kent Champions for 2016 …

The TWCC T20 XI who, for the first time, reached the Finals Day at Foxgrove, Beckenham, on 24/07/2016, not only defeated their semifinal opponents Blackheath in a most distinctive manner, but they also won the Final against Sandwich Town with outstanding groundwork, catching and fielding after an evenly contested first innings. The events of the day were momentous enough, and now the TWCC side will try to do well enough to progress in the National leg of the 2016 T20 Competition.

The weekend also gave Chris Williams, the T20 skipper, the opportunity to notch his second KL century of the Summer, both scored from the Dartford attack, during an important away win, meanwhile Nathan Maskell carried his bat in intense heat at The Nevill for TW II as he rewrote the record books with a marvellous undefeated innings of 176*.
