U15 Portman Cup |
| TW Under 15 team progressed to the next round of the Portman Cup, a national competiton, when they defeated last year's 'bogey' team Cowdrey at Bayham in an evening match. Batting first, TW raced to 151-2 off 20 overs with skipper William Stickler leading the way with 50 not out. Ian Millman with 43, also made a siginificant contribution. Cowdrey made a good response and although always slightly behind the required rate, put enough pressure on the home side to expose chinks in its fielding armoury.
