Women’s & Girls’ cricket

Tunbridge Wells has a thriving Women and Girls section with around 100 members

The club entered the Women’s Cricket Southern League (WCSL) in 2014.  After an encouraging first season, our young side won their league in 2015. The club is looking forward to  the 2017 season and would welcome new players, especially those who have some adult cricket experience.

Women’s training, generally from age 15 upwards started at the end of April on Thursday evenings at the The Nevill ground, which has excellent facilities. For more details contact Stephen Green on 07714 192277 or Andrew Cloke on 07846 233186.

Girls under 18 years of age should apply for membership by going to the Membership Youth page and completing the form.

Congratulations! Girls win Upchurch Cricket Festival July 16 4 2017

The girls won all four of their league matches, to qualify for the final against Hayes. It was a true team performance, with everyone playing their part. In the nail-biting, low-scoring final, our bowling and fielding was fantastic and kept us in the game, and there was all to play for in the last over. With Hayes needing just one run to win off the last two balls, Orla pulled off an amazing caught and bowled to win the match!
