If you are reading this you are interested in your son or daughter joining the Club as a youth player (under 18 as at the previous 1st September). What follows below is information on the current membership situation and how to register interest.
INTRODUCTION
Most of our coaches are volunteers and are available to coach and manage on most weeks but there is a limit; fundamentally we do our utmost to ensure that the ratio of coaches to players means that the boys and girls get good coaching and enjoy themselves. So we have had to set fixed, maximum numbers which we are able to sustain, for each school year group. This is because, as an ECB Clubmark club, we have a clear set of guidelines related to the provision of a safe, effective and child friendly cricket programme.
As a general rule we have 20 members in each school year group from BOYS: year 3 (boys starter year) up to and including year 13, and GIRLS: year 2 (girls starter year) up to and including year 8.
WAITING LIST (see table below)
Due to high demand for places we operate a waiting list for all age groups.
'Closed' means: regrettably we are unable to take any more children onto our waiting list for the foreseeable future who have a dob between the dates shown; this is because for these age groups we are already at a maximum (20) with a least another 10 waiting for a place.
'Open*' means: can join the waiting list; and there may be a place available now.
'Open' means: too young for membership but can join the list.

MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
Our membership process for each new season runs from February to the end of April.
- The first 20 Year 3s (boys starter year) on the list are emailed with an offer of membership; depending on the response, further boys are invited to join us (for girls this is Year 2)
- Existing members receive a membership pack in the post. They are given a deadline to re-join after which ‘vacated places’ are offered to boys on the waiting list in the date order in which they joined the list by school year group (similar process for girls)
- At the end of March children on the waiting list for whom no place is available are emailed with the bad news and are asked whether they wish to remain on the list for the following year.
It is true that in years 4/5/6/7/8 not too many boys leave TWCC and so those waiting for vacated places in these age groups will find it hard to secure a place
APPLICATION TO JOIN
To join the waiting list please click here and complete the Application Form
Each application is recorded in date of email application order and acknowledged by email. Your email is retained on file. Thereafter the process described above comes into play.
Thank you for your interest.
