TWCC Girls U12 League Champions!

The Tunbridge Wells girls are champions of the U11 Invicta cricket league, Championship South Division. Over the season, the girls were victorious in 8 of their 10 games in a fiercely competitive division. The team showed buckets of ability, spirit and determination to win several closely-fought games, and overcame 5 strong boys’ teams.  A total of 17 girls played in the side, and their achievement is a tremendous advertisement for girls’ cricket.

Izzy Cloke, currently a member at TWCC, was promoted to the England Ladies’ Academy in 2018.

Our girls section was formed in 2009. Before that time girls trained with the boys. One of those who did, Alice Davidson Richards, won her first full England cap in spring 2018 in India.
